How it works
From a note to a signed engagement.
Here's what happens between "I have a problem" and "it's handled" — and where the licensed attorney sits in the loop, which is everywhere it matters.

Write a short note: the contract, the dispute, the question keeping a decision stuck. No intake forms that go nowhere, no discovery-call theater. Talking to the firm does not create an attorney-client relationship — that begins only when an engagement letter is signed — but everything you share is handled with the care owed to a prospective client.
Contacting the firm — through this site, by email, or by beginning intake — does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only through a signed engagement agreement.
Conflict check and a plain read.
Paul checks for conflicts, reads what you sent, and tells you whether and how the firm can help — usually within a business day. If the answer is "not us," you'll hear that too, with a pointer where he can give one.
The engagement, in writing first.
If it's a fit, you receive a short engagement letter defining the scope and the terms — a fixed monthly fee for ongoing outside general counsel, or a written scope and price for a defined project. The relationship begins when it's signed, not before.
The work — with the engine underneath.
Once engaged, the platform goes to work: it researches your company, your counterparties, and the issue, and produces first drafts. Paul reviews everything the system produced, applies judgment, and decides the path. Nothing reaches you — no advice, no draft, no recommendation — without a licensed attorney having reviewed and owned it.
Same attorney, every time.
You deal with Paul. Not an associate you've never met, not a rotating team. When a matter needs a specialty the firm doesn't carry, he brings in the right counsel and stays accountable for the whole.
Fast, because it's disciplined.
Some clients come for the speed. What they stay for is the accountability: everything is supervised, everything is reviewed, and a licensed attorney owns every output. Confidential handling, a disciplined system, and human judgment at the center — that is the model.
Beginning a conversation does not create an attorney-client relationship — it starts the one that may lead to it.
